Global Business Developer

Within EDCO, we’re currently expanding our business and, therefore, seeking a Global Business Developer who will focus on discovering new markets that we have yet to explore. The right person will be crucial in broadening our business by forming important partnerships and uncovering fresh opportunities worldwide. This role requires someone with a talent for exploring new markets, and a strong interest in discovering untapped possibilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify business opportunities and emerging markets.
• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with distributors, and Retail chains worldwide.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on business development activities and results.
• This role involves international travel to represent the company at events and trade shows to enhance company visibility and network with potential clients.

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor's degree in commercial direction;
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in international trading or business development;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced an young environment;
• Strong interpersonal, commercial and social skills;
• Proactive, assertive, ambitious, and unafraid to make outbound calls;
• Willingness to travel internationally as required;
• Fluent in English and preferably a 2nd and a 3rd language;
• In possession of a “B” category driver’s license;
• Living in the Netherlands.
